Turkish startup Abonesepeti, a subscription management application that helps users start, manage, and cancel subscriptions, has raised a $400,000 investment led by UK-based GoldmanStartups, with participation from Keiretsu Forum Turkey and ŞirketOrtağım Angel Investment Network.

Abonesepeti, which currently has over 250,000 users, allows you to plan, track, and optimize all your subscriptions from the start of the service to cancellation, saving you time and money. With this startup, you can compare subscriptions to choose the right one, pay your bills, get home insurance and vehicle insurance, and even rent a car quickly. Additionally, you can easily cancel unused subscriptions using Abonesepeti’s cancellation service.

Abonesepeti currently collaborates with over 30 brands in 12 different categories, including mobile, internet, TV, and security. The app, which started with 34,000 customers, now has 250,000 users and aims to reach over 2 million users by 2024 through applications and banking partnerships.

Founded by Deniz Okumuş in 2017, Müjgan Aydın joined as a co-founder in 2017, and Serkan Türkoğlu in 2019.

Deniz Okumuş, co-founder of Abonesepeti, announced that as of this month, more than 12 million İşCep users will start using Abonesepeti within the Türkiye İş Bankası Mobile Banking application.

Okumuş stated, “With this investment, our focus on providing better service to our users will be to ensure that all subscription processes are completed digitally from start to finish, from the beginning of the subscription service to the cancellation process. In this regard, we will fine-tune our systems to work simultaneously with all institutions offering subscription services. We have joined the Visa Innovation Program, and in the near future, we will launch Abonesepeti Wallet. Thus, Abonesepeti will turn into a fintech app that manages not only our subscriptions but also subscription budgets. In the future, we aim to become a global player in the fintech market, which is expected to have a market size of over $1 trillion.”
